Unlike the 335 which has a center block to promote sustain and prevent feedback, the Casino is fully hollow like a jazz box. The original design was a 16'-wide archtop guitar that is the same depth as semi-hollow guitars such as the ES-335. The original Kalamazoo-made Casinos are sought-after guitars.
Famously used by the Beatles, Howlin' Wolf, the Rolling Stones, Gary Clark, Jr., and many others, the Casino may also be Epiphone's most-recognizable electric guitar.
Since 1961, the Casino has been Epiphone's best-selling archtop.
